La Cocina cultivates low income food entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses by providing affordable commercial kitchen space, industry-specific technical assistance, and access to market opportunities with an emphasis on women from communities of color and immigrant communities (La Cocina, 2016).  F&B:  Voices of the Kitchen is a twice-yearly storytelling experience event, providing an opportunity and open space for individuals that are less often heard to share their stories.  For La Cocina’s Voices of the Kitchen Storytelling Experience, I photographed the event as part of Spinsters SF’s Charity Outreach Committee.
