Project Description

March 2, 2016

When my father passed away, it was hard for me to ask for help or even comfort from my friends.  However, Gianna, my closest friend from high school, has always had a way of being there for me without me even asking.

Gianna was traveling to San Diego with her boyfriend to celebrate her cousin’s wedding.  Part of enhancing the trip, Gianna decided to extend the travel.  It might have been 6 months since I last saw her, but I wanted to make sure that we were able to spend time with each other during her stay so I flew down to SoCal to see her.  Friendships have always meant a lot to me so whenever possible, I try very hard to maintain them.

Point Loma – the spot where surfers hang out

La Jolla Cove – the place filled with sea lions, even baby sea lions

We came across the perfect time when the cherry blossom trees were blooming.  Throughout the park, there were also bonsai trees on display.

The garden was filed with different types of plants and cacti.

Reflections

Last year, I spent a day in San Diego with my friend prior to flying out to Israel.  However, I felt like this trip, I was able to see the main attractions of the San Diego Area.  It was a perfect introduction to potentially many more visits.

Where have I traveled in the United States?
