Even though I was not able to spend Christmas with my immediate family, I definitely did not feel alone and felt so LOVED by the people in my life. I was able to spend the holidays with my extended family from Australia and friends.
Davies Symphony Hall – A Charlie Brown Christmas
Davies Symphony Hall – Exterior
Castello Di Amorosa
One of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley, with its unique architecture and castle-like resemblance; I brought my family here and it was one of their favorite spots while visiting the Bay Area. Check out their website
17 Mile Drive – a short, scenic drive with 21 stops along the way
Our favorite views were ones of the ocean. My aunt shared that this drive reminded her of Melbourne. When I first moved to the Bay Area, I also felt that this drive reminded me of Australia as well.
Lands End – one of my favorite spots when I first visited San Francisco and an ongoing place I return back to when I’m reflective about life; photograph of Catherine at Lands End
Louis SF – casual and cozy dining overlooking Sutro Baths and parts of Lands End
I’m learning as I get older that it is sometimes not possible to spend holidays with your family. However, there are different versions of family in my life.
Where have I traveled in the United States?
