Even though I was not able to spend Christmas with my immediate family, I definitely did not feel alone and felt so LOVED by the people in my life. I was able to spend the holidays with my extended family from Australia and friends.

Castello Di Amorosa
One of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley, with its unique architecture and castle-like resemblance; I brought my family here and it was one of their favorite spots while visiting the Bay Area. Check out their website
17 Mile Drive – a short, scenic drive with 21 stops along the way
Our favorite views were ones of the ocean. My aunt shared that this drive reminded her of Melbourne. When I first moved to the Bay Area, I also felt that this drive reminded me of Australia as well.

Reflections
I’m learning as I get older that it is sometimes not possible to spend holidays with your family. However, there are different versions of family in my life.
