During the third day of La Cocina’s Week of Women in Food 2019, Old Damascus Fare (Rawa family originally from Syria), Michelle Minori (Season 16’s Top Chef Contestant and former executive chef of SF’s Barzotto), and The Red Door teamed up to share some amazing food from their culture to celebrate the week of women in the food industry!  Food has always been a way for Old Damascus Fare to connect and bridge their journey from Syria to America by sharing their cuisines with everyone curious to try!  Photographs captured were glimpses of what happened that night at UC Berkeley Student Union!
